With more than 90% of our clients being at or below the federal poverty guidelines, most of these individuals and families are not able to pay for the services they so desperately need. Based upon the costs to provide care and the earned reimbursements we receive, Dismas House of Kansas City is left each year with over $250,000 in uncompensated care. Without the generous support of individuals, corporations and foundations in the Kansas City community, we would not be able to provide the level of service and recovery support services to the clients who need us most.
